We have started the process of graphic design. During this, we took a step back to the foundation, because if you don’t know where you came from you won’t know where you are going and with this being said they went back to drawing on paper. Additionally, graphic designing can be done otherwise but this makes it easier to start from a base. Furthermore, the next step will be to use different tools to recreate their flower to make it computerized, this is graphic design 101, taught in the colleges and sometimes done by professionals.
DIVAS (Digital Interactive Visual Arts Sciences) for Social Justice aims to bridge the digital divide by combining media literacy and cultural awareness along with a vast understanding of technology to encourage young women in under served communities to pursue careers in computer science and new media.
