The 6th grade Digital Media class has finished filming their commercial for Jeremi’s Acting Studio, a dream business one of our students would like to open one day. Now, the footage just needs to be edited together, and the students are well equipped to produce a commercial for a real local business in Laurelton. Below are a few test shots of the commercial that were made to decide the camera angles and the actions of the characters. The real video will be released shortly. DIVAS (Digital Interactive Visual Arts Sciences) for Social Justice aims to bridge the digital divide by combining media literacy and cultural awareness along with a vast understanding of technology to encourage young women in under served communities to pursue careers in computer science and new media.
