This week it got a little competitive in the gym after introducing a game that included Rock Paper Scissors. It’s always good to see the students enthusiastic but I had to reiterate sportsmanship after the students true competitive nature was revealed. At the end of the day we all had a good time and the activity was done safely which is the number one priority at the end of the day. Moving towards the Christmas break I hope the energy remains the same.
DIVAS (Digital Interactive Visual Arts Sciences) for Social Justice aims to bridge the digital divide by combining media literacy and cultural awareness along with a vast understanding of technology to encourage young women in under served communities to pursue careers in computer science and new media.
