The first few drawings since September were inspired by the GARDEN OF RESILIENCE, so it’s only right that we top it off with a gazebo. When you look at these gazebos it’s not completely obvious that the students drew from the same image because while they are obvious that they are gazebos, they are still very different. This is what I want from them every time and they continue to hit the nail on the head. Just such great work, I’m amazed once again by the level of talent being displayed.
DIVAS (Digital Interactive Visual Arts Sciences) for Social Justice aims to bridge the digital divide by combining media literacy and cultural awareness along with a vast understanding of technology to encourage young women in under served communities to pursue careers in computer science and new media.
