BUILDING SELF-ESTEEM

For these past weeks, we worked on building the students’ self-esteem by incorporating fun and engaging activities. We played a game I created called “What’s Good?”, where students would gather together in a group and throw the ball to their peers and ask them “What’s Good?” and the students would respond with something positive, something they thought was good that has happened for that day, for that week, or even at that moment. The students all gave some great responses.

We also had the opportunity to do a coloring activity that showcased positive affirmation quotes such as “Dream, Believe, Achieve” and “Take a deep breath, go with the flow. Just do your best and show what you know”. The students each enjoyed expressing themselves freely through coloring.
