For the past few weeks at Macon, students have been given the task to come up with their own original songs, in order to learn sound recording technology and software.
Students learned how to trim, edit and record audio tracks. Very soon we’ll have exported tracks with original lyrics, drum experimentation and audio effects!
DIVAS (Digital Interactive Visual Arts Sciences) for Social Justice aims to bridge the digital divide by combining media literacy and cultural awareness along with a vast understanding of technology to encourage young women in under served communities to pursue careers in computer science and new media.
