 
	    On Thursday, November 16, 2017, STEAM at the Linden SDA school hosted a work in progress event of the student’s work from all the classes. It was wonderful to finally see what the other teachers have been working on with the students. We [the teachers] spend so much time working individually with the students. We enter the classroom each week with well thought out lesson plans, ready to educate the students and be inspired by their creativity. Each day comes with its own set of challenges. Those well thought out lesson plans can fall to the way side and inspiration quickly turns into frustration. However, as educators, we do not give up. We press on; use our love of teaching and turn frustration into creative circumstances to learn and grow.
Seeing the various displays from the classes reinforced that sentiment. From clay puppets created for stop motion films to art work formed from aluminum foil to create statues, it was clear to see that inspiration and creativity are indeed taking place in the classroom. I left the event feeling uplifted, refreshed and proud to be an educator.
