October 29. 2018 marked our amazing beginning to our first podcast. After a 10-15 min discussion about what is a profile? How can they produce a profile for an election? We transitioned into preparing for an actual interview. Allowing the children to engaged in their leadership skills; Group Leader allowed scholars to come up with their own creative expressions of what type of question would be asked and how they will layout the visual aspect for their viewers.
Students shared their experience throughout the time and also received feedback from Group Leader.
DIVAS (Digital Interactive Visual Arts Sciences) for Social Justice aims to bridge the digital divide by combining media literacy and cultural awareness along with a vast understanding of technology to encourage young women in under served communities to pursue careers in computer science and new media.
