An Interview with A.B. Whitfield

On this episode of Kid Kanda we interviewed the co-founder of Trey Whitfield school, A.B. Whitfield.  We touched on his career as a professional football player and his transition to education. He explain how the journey wasn’t easy to build a school in East New York due to the criticism he received about it never working. He feels a blessing to walk in the halls of the building knowing that he accomplished what was told couldn’t get done. He explains that the journey is still going because his main focus right now is to get funding to pay his staff of teachers what they deserve, building an auditorium and gymnasium and to overall expand Trey Whitfield school.
