End of the Year Preparations

The eighth grade STEAM participants at the Linden SDA School have worked hard all year to hone their writing skills and collect a portfolio of the articles, op eds, and different pieces that they’ve written, edited, and collaborated with their classmates.

Last week, they made their final run around the Laurelton neighborhood, interviewing more residents and getting their opinions and stories of the times they’ve spent and enjoyed in Laurelton.

Among the interviewers were Taylor Borderon, Ajeya Watson, Ayana Powell, Dejaun Guishard and Ajani Semple. They found themselves being surprised at the different scenery of the houses that were beyond the perimeter of their usual commutes to school or little stops around the neighborhood.

They made friends with and interviewed a Laurelton resident their age, and after the neighborhood walk, felt truly immersed in their school neighborhood.
