This month, the students revisited the idea of what social change means to them and their community. Each student was tasked with created a pop-up page depicting a change they wanted to see within either their school or their community. When completed, the pages will be assembled into a book titled Pop-Up for Social Change. The students tackled issues of littering, politics, homelessness and various other social issues.

DIVAS (Digital Interactive Visual Arts Sciences) for Social Justice aims to bridge the digital divide by combining media literacy and cultural awareness along with a vast understanding of technology to encourage young women in under served communities to pursue careers in computer science and new media.
