Take Life For A Trip… Don’t Let It Trip You…

footwork

This week we worked with the agility ladder and fingertip control. On and off the court you have to stay on your toes and stay on point. In between the lines, proper footwork and being sharp allows you to exploit opponents whether they are out of postion, out of shape or those who simply lack skills, work ethic and determination. Only the strong survive. Off the court taking the right steps will allow you to properly exercise and exceed your ability.

Inept footwork on and off the court will leave you on your heels, flatfooted, exposed, vulnerable and crossed up on the floor.

Practicing proper footwork and fingertip control starts by moving at your own pace, taking your time and staying true to your values and fundamentals. Good habits take time to build and even longer to reinforce. Bring energy to everything you do. Kinetic energy puts you in a position to exert your potential. After a while, a challenge becomes acquired behavior.

Lack of knowledge will eventually change to enlightenment. What was formerly a struggle becomes familiar. What seemed impossible becomes laughable. Life is full of loops on and off the court. Take life on a trip, dont let it trip you. Stay motivated, never quit, have fun and smile. What once appeared as adversity will become second nature. Others will eventually look at you for guidance. Everyone does not want to succeed. Some want to play the role. Choose to be the role model.ballspin Stay true to your craft, your goals and most importantly yourself. Your dreams will become reality.
