The kids have officially started interviewing me for the “I Grew Up In Laurelton” podcast. We have taken everything we’ve learned up to this point and applied it to making the podcast. The kids asked me some hard hitting questions and i answered them as honestly as I could. It has been interesting watching these kids to see who is built to be on the mic and who is more comfortable behind the scenes. I look forward to seeing how this plays out.
DIVAS (Digital Interactive Visual Arts Sciences) for Social Justice aims to bridge the digital divide by combining media literacy and cultural awareness along with a vast understanding of technology to encourage young women in under served communities to pursue careers in computer science and new media.
